Laptop stolen from truck

Crime Stoppers of Barton County seeks information about the theft of a laptop computer and other items from a truck the night of Jan. 27.

According to Great Bend Police Chief Dean Akings, a truck belonging to Superior Testers was burglarized sometime between 9 p.m. on Jan. 27 and 3 a.m. on Jan. 28. The unlocked truck was parked at 1215 Cleveland St. "Taken was a Toshiba laptop computer and tester tubes. Loss was $7,200. The tubes were recovered in the 3700 block of Lakin.
