A Larned man was injured Thursday night when the car he was driving hit a deer on U.S. 56, 3 miles east of Kinsley in Edwards County.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports Terry L. Stanton, 46, was driving west in a 2014 Dodge Charger at 10:15 p.m. when the deer entered the roadway. After the car hit the deer, it went into the south ditch, struck a culvert and rolled to its top. He was wearing a seat belt.
