Christmas is past, but Great Bend’s Trail of Lights will remain lit until the new year, Community Coordinator Christina Hayes said.
Monday, Dec. 31, will be the last day for the free attraction, which includes lights at Brit Spaugh Park, 10th St. and K-96, Veterans Park and the Barton County Courthouse Square, as well as the Barton County Historical Society Museum, located just south of town on U.S. 281.
This is also the last week for skating in the courthouse square. Free skates for the artificial ice will be available from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 1-8 p.m. Saturday.
