The Great Bend Public Library will show an after-school movie on Friday, and will hold a tree-trimming party on Saturday, Children’s Librarian Eric Coulbourne said.
Friday’s movie starts at 3:30 p.m. The movie is about a doubting boy who, on Christmas Eve, boards a magical train that’s headed to the North Pole and Santa Claus’s home. Free popcorn will be served.
Saturday’s tree-trimming party will be from 2-4 p.m. in the Children’s Room at the library. Children will first make ornaments, and then hang them. Refreshments will be served.
No sign-up is necessary for either of these events, Coulborune said.
