The Great Bend Public Library, 1409 Williams St., is asking the public to become a library valentine on Monday.

Staff will be serving cake, punch and coffee from noon to 6:30 p.m.

"Those attending may have their picture taken to add to the valentine wall," said Terri Hurley, public relations director. Students in grades 7-12 and adults may register to win a donated prize of $100. Children through grade 6 may register to win a cute stuffed valentine dog and balloons.
