RUSH CENTER — The Walnut Valley Senior Center announces the return of the Potato Bar, a monthly fundraier. The senior center is located at 220 Washington St. in Rush Center.
The Potato Bar will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15, and on the third or fourth Sunday of each month through May 2014. Baked potatoes, salads bar, desserts and drinks will be served. Spokesman Betty Misegadis said the proceeds are used to maintain the former school building in Rush Center for the benefit of the community.
