Detective Heather Smith from the Great Bend Police Department will share tips to help women reduce the likelihood of being assaulted, during the Great Bend Recreation Commission’s next Stop N’ Learn session, Program Coordinator Garet Fitzpatrick said.
Smith will present the free program, “Defensive Living,” from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th St.  The program is designed to meet the needs of females in respect to awareness and self-protection, Fitzpatrick said.
