Rhea Grandon paintings featured at Great Bend Public Library

An art exhibit featuring paintings by Rhea Grandon is on display at the Great Bend Public Library through May 25.
Grandon is an Ellinwood native who has been actively painting for 53 years. Her medium is primarily in acrylics and watercolor and her motif is southwest and Native American themes. She has paintings in private collections in 28 countries and has had the honor of having one of her paintings considered twice for inclusion in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian. Grandon has also had the privilege of painting Goldie Hawn’s portrait, and has sold her work to a number of well-known collectors.
