STAFFORD — U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (Rep-KS) has canceled a planned trip to Stafford Friday. The recess was cancelled and the Senate was called back in session so he will be in Washington, D.C. However, they do plan on rescheduling in Stafford although a time is not yet set.
Moran is continuing his tradition of traveling back to Kansas at every opportunity to visit hundreds of communities throughout the state. He was sworn in as a U.S. Senator representing Kansas on Capitol Hill in 2011.
The senator will travel to all 105 Kansas counties to talk with area residents about their hopes and concerns. Much of Moran’s focus is largely based on the conversations he has with Kansans during these town hall meetings.
