Snowblower stolen

Surveillance cameras recorded the theft of a snowblower from Walmart last week, but Crime Stoppers is seeking more information from the public. According to Great Bend Police Chief Dean Akings, a red, 24-inch Craftsman snowblower was taken from the parking lot at 3503 10th St. at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5. The snowblower had a primer gray auger on it and was on a  trailer attached to a pickup.
Tapes show two men getting out of a white crew cab Ford pickup and loading the snowblower. The pickup quickly left the parking lot going north, then east.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call 792-1300 or 888-305-1300 to leave an anonymous tip.
