At 3:55 p.m. Tuesday, Barton County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to arrest a subject at Central KS Community Corrections, 1806 12th St. Ernie Klima was there and had an outstanding “arrest and detain” warrant.
Klima fled the area and was later found at 1315 Hubbard St. Before he was arrested, Klima was subdued with a Taser electronic device. He was checked out by the Great Bend Fire Department ambulance service before he was taken to the Barton County Jail and booked on the A&D order, and for resisting arrest. He is being held without bond.
