McCRACKEN — A Colwich woman was injured Friday morning in a one-vehicle accident in Rush County, about 4.5 miles north of McCracken. Theresa Marie Schippers, 18, was transported to Hays Medical Center in Hays.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Schippers was driving south on County Road 110 at 9:30 a.m. when she met another vehicle at the top of a hill. She over-corrected and the Pontiac Grand Prix she was driving entered the west ditch and rolled one time. She was wearing a seat belt.
