Starting in 2014, the Touched by Cancer Support Group’s regular meetings will be at 2 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month and 5:15 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month, at the Heartland Cancer Center, 204 Cleveland St. The evening meetings will start 30 minutes earlier than they did in 2013, spokesman Dana Foss said.
In January, there will only be one meeting, at 5:15 p.m. on Jan. 21. The speaker will be announced later.
Touched by Cancer Group meetings and activities are open to everyone currently fighting the disease, cancer survivors or families and friends of those involved in all phases of the illness. People are welcome to attend any or all meetings; no membership or commitment is required.
