USD 428 Board of Education will meet at 5 p.m. on Monday at the District Education Office, 201 South Patton Road. Items on the agenda include: Challenge Awards for Park Elementary School 3rd, 4th and 6th grade math and 6th grade reading and Riley Elementary School 6th grade math and 6th grade reading; recognition of the GBRC Blue Chip Award, the FBLA students and sponsors and GBHS Science teacher Kacey Ford; GBHS Student Council community service project; approval of web hosting services; approval of early dismissal at GBHS on Nov. 22, 2013; approval of additional GBMS coaching staff; ACT update; state assessments and annual measurable objectives; GBMS gym construction update; permission to apply for supplemental grant; and the 2013-2014 calendar development.
