A two-vehicle injury accident occurred at 11:30 a.m. Thursday on NE 30 Road and North Washington Ave., three miles north of Great Bend.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports a Ford Windstar driven by Mark A. Moore, Elk City, Okla., was westbound on NE 30 Road and ran a stop sign. It was struck by a van driven by Jessica H. Schmidt, 25, of Great Bend. Moore was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital with undetermined injuries, along with passenger Megan Moore, 23. Three children in the vehicle were not injured. All were wearing safety restraints.
Schmidt was not injured and was not wearing a seat belt.
