Although tornado warnings were sounded Sunday for Barton County, Sheriff Brian Bellendir said no tornados touched down.
There was some wind and hail damage in the county, but it was straight-line wind rather than a tornado. The sheriff knew of a residence where there was damage to a roof and to windows. A BCSO vehicle also had a windshield knocked out by hail.
