Fort Larned National Historic Site will be closed on Christmas Day, Sunday, Dec. 25, and New Year’s Day, Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023.

Visit the website www.nps.gov/fols for pictures and information about the fort, as well as its role in U.S. history and the history of the Santa Fe Trail. The fort will reopen on Monday, Dec. 26 and Tuesday, Jan. 2, for its regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.   

Fort Larned National Historic Site is located six miles west of Larned on K-156.
