LARNED – Local law enforcement has been advised and is responding to a reported escape from the Larned State Hospital campus. No indication of a threat to the safety of the general public has been issued.

Larned dispatch confirmed a report of an escape from LSH was received at approximately 1:02 p.m. Thursday. Details of the incident are being investigated under LSH security protocol as well as by the Larned Police Department and the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office.
