American State Bancshares moving from Great Bend

WICHITA (AP) — American State Bancshares, a bank holding company, plans to move its headquarters from Great Bend to Wichita.
The company, which has $675 million in assets, is a holding company for three Kansas banks.
CEO Don LacKamp says six staff members will join him in moving to Wichita. He expects the move to be complete in 60 days.
The Wichita Eagle reports (http://bit.ly/1rnTnrM ) the company is the holding company for American State Bank & Trust Co. in Great Bend, Rose Hill Bank and Peoples Exchange Bank in Belleville. It was established in 2001.
