35 years
Elaine Yanda celebrated 35 years of service at Clara Barton Hospital on April 2. Yanda began work in 1979 as a general duty nurse at Hoisington Lutheran Hospital. She has worked in the emergency room, labor and delivery, rehabilitation center, operating room, medical/surgical inpatient unit, and currently provides care to post-operation patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Elaine lives in Hoisington, with her husband John, and has two daughters, Jennifer Michaelis and Melissa Davis, one son, the late Brian Yanda, and six grandchildren.
