After Prom meeting to be held

ELLINWOOD — Ellinwood After Prom parent meeting is Monday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. at the St. Joseph’s School cafeteria. All EHS Junior and Senior parents are encouraged to attend.

Conceal Carry Class to be held
ELLINWOOD — A Conceal Carry Class will be held at 9 a.m. Oct. 26 at St. John Lutheran Church in Ellinwood. Shooting qualifications will be held later in the afternoon at the Ernsting Shooting Range, south of town. The class will be completed by 5 p.m.
Cost of the class is $75. A $20 deposit and current driver’s license is required to sign up and hold a spot. The remaining $55 is due on the day of the course.
Additional costs for licensing are required, but these are paid to the state when the course has been completed.
Participants must bring there own firearm, eye protection, hearing protection and a minimum of 25 factory loads.

City-wide garage sale listings
ELLINWOOD — The city-wide garage sale listings will be available at 7 a.m. at the Ellinwood Chamber of Commerce office and at the Pop-N-Shop for the FAll Frolic on Saturday. In addition, there will be a guy’s only garage sale at the American Legion in Ellinwood.

Red Cross Blood Drive in Hoisington
HOISINGTON — The Red Cross will be having a Red Cross Blood Drive from 2-6:30 p.m. Oct. 14  at the Hoisington Activity Center, 1200 Susank Rd.
