ELLINWOOD — The criterion for the Alan Fullbright Scholarship are a reflection of what was significant in Alan Fullbright’s life. The 2013 scholarship recipients are Stephanie Troyer who will be majoring in Music Education and attending Barton Community College. She has held several offices in KAY, FBLA, International Club and was the Student Council secretary and vice president of her class.
The second recipient is Kyle Blakeslee  who will be attending Barton Community College. He has held several offices in FFA, FBLA, and National Honor Society. He has been a class officer all four years.
The criteria for selection are: first will be given to an education major; second to students who are going to attend either of Alan’s Alma Mater’s; third to Barton County Community College or Fort Hays State University and who showed leadership in the high school by holding an office in a school activity.
