One seriously injured in Great Bend explosion

One person received what were described as critical injuries in an explosion reported at 3:08 a.m. Wednesday at 705 10th St. in Great Bend.

All School Walk

Some of the students and staff are pictured above on their All School Walk, this past week at Roosevelt Elementary School in Hoisington. As part of the focus on wellness, students and staff are participating in an activity each nine weeks to emphasize the importance of overall wellness. Students have health and wellness class each week with instructor Tim Schremmer to discuss the many aspects of nutrition and physical activity.
