HOISINGTON — Dr. Kipp Van Camp of Topeka has written a book about his beloved dog Allie, a Bichon Frise and the special bond between a family and their pet, and will be in Hoisington for a book signing on 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

It is a story about life, relationships, adversity and living each day to the fullest. Allie lived to be seventeen years old.

The book took one year for Dr. Van Camp to complete. A portion of the proceeds will go to charity.
