Annual turtle races
Mya Niehues, 2, right, won a blue ribbon and tickets to the carnival for her speedy turtle Piggy at the Hoisington Labor Day turtle races. She is the daughter of Sara Niehues and the grandaughter of Alan Charles. Second place winner was Peyton Schneider, 3rd place winner was Hayden Gardener and 4th place winner was the Grandclair girls, 5th place was Rylie Philbern anf 6th place went to MJ Alyward.
