HHS FCCLA to hold fundraiser

HOISINGTON —The Hoisington High School FCCLA will be having a dessert theatre before the HHS showcase on Friday and Saturday night.  This will be available from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m.  Cost is a free will donation.
Funds will be used to pay the speaker next week. Mike Donahue  will present to Hoisington students grades 5 through 12  and Otis Bison students grades 7 through 12.  His program will be over bullying.

City of Ellinwood announces trash pickup days for holiday

ELLINWOOD — Trash pickup for the week of Nov. 11 will be on Tuesday and Thursday on the east side and Wednesday and Friday on the west side due to the Veteran’s Day holiday on Nov. 12.


Claflin holds Hunter’s Breakfast

CLAFLIN — Claflin Lions Club will be sponsoring the 51st annual Hunters’ Breakfast at 5:30 - 10:30 a.m. on  Saturday Nov. 10.
The meal will include all you eat pancakes, scrambled eggs and ham along with a drink at the new Claflin Community Center located on “A” street between Williamson and Park Street.
Cost of the meal is a free-will donation. Proceeds enable the club continue to provide funding for youth and local community events.
