The Ellinwood Garden Club met March 9 at the home of Debbie Tillotson. Jean Robinson, Denise Joslin, and Debbie Tillotson were hostesses. The meeting was called to order by President June Stephens and roll call and minutes were read by Mike Westerman, secretary.

The financial report was given by treasurer Bobbie Richardson. Eight members answered roll call and the discussion of old and new business proceeded. Plans were discussed for the annual spring planting of the flower boxes downtown Ellinwood. The next meeting will be April 13 when the Garden Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the United Church of Christ parking lot and travel to Stutzman’s Garden Center in Hutchinson. Lunch will be at the Dutch Kitchen restaurant with hosts Ken Borror and Ron Poppe providing dessert.
