Central Plains Middle School would like to recognize Delaney Rugan and Lawson Oeser as the January Students of the Month.
Delaney is the daughter of Richard and Janel Rugan and is in the sixth grade.  She has two siblings, Sydney and Brady.   
Delaney participates in band and vocal and is currently the manager for the middle school girls’ basketball team.  Her favorite class in school is math.  When asked what she likes best about school, she replied, “Being with my friends.”
Mrs. Webster, band instructor commented, “Delaney is willing to try to learn anything I ask her to, including things with which she has no prior experience. She leads the organization of rehearsals for the percussion ensemble, and is always positive, cheerful, and helpful.”
Lawson is the son of Jon and Jane Oeser and is a sixth grader at Central Plains Middle School.  Lawson has two sisters, Lexi and Lauren.  
Lawson participates in band and vocal and is the manager of the middle school boys’ basketball team.  His favorite subject in school is health and science.  What Lawson likes best about school is, “Seeing my friends and doing experiments in science.”
Secretary, BJ Mockerman commented, “Lawson is always willing to help.  He will go the extra mile to help someone and is a great-spirit leader for his class.  A great role model.”
Congratulations, Delaney and Lawson, for being selected as the CPMS Students of the Month.
