CPMS students pose for a Survivor picture prior to the safari celebration

Twenty-six Central Plains Middle School 6-8 grade students earned the title of “Survivor” by surviving the past 50 days of school. To qualify for the 50-Day Survivor Safari reward, students had to have perfect attendance from Nov. 14-Feb. 7 for a total of 50 school days. Students who met this criteria were able to enjoy an afternoon of games and snacks on Feb. 8th. Students were challenged with an obstacle course, played limbo, tug-of-war, and a variety of other games planned by the Renaissance Council. The 50-Day Survivor challenge was implemented by the CPMS Renaissance Council as an incentive to increase attendance.
