Hoisington Middle School had eight students selected to perform in the District Middle School honor band on Saturday, Nov. 9 in Dodge City.  
Two students who were selected to be alternates for this ensemble as well.
These students were selected to perform: Maleigha Schmidt, flute; Megan Schroeder, flute; Rheanna Spires, clarinet; Liza Ward, clarinet; Kirk Reisner, alto sax; Jessi Kindscher, trombone; Madison Pata, baritone; and Braedon Willesden, timpani.
These students were selected as alternates Krista Schneider, flute; and Joanna Lockwood, alto sax.
