ELLINWOOD — According to the Ellinwood Rotary Club, there is still time to enter the Ellinwood After Harvest Festival Parade, which will be at 10 a.m. on July 21.
Entry forms may be obtained on the web at www.ellinwoodchamber.com, or by calling 620-792-2428 or 620-566-7353. Entries should be submitted by July 16. The categories of the parade include All-Around, Antique Tractor, Classic/Antique Vehicle, Commercial, Most Original, Religious Float, Theme, and Youth Entry.
The Rotary Club has selected the theme, “Celebrate Ellinwood – 140 Years: 1872 - 2012.” The Rotarians encourage participants to incorporate the theme into their entry. This theme was selected to commemorate Ellinwood’s 140th anniversary and to celebrate the various aspects of its rich heritage.
The Ellinwood Rotary Club coordinates the parade, which is one of the highlights of the After Harvest Festival, to be celebrated July 18-21.
