St. Joseph School hosted Chamber Coffee during Catholic Schools Week Thursday, Feb. 2nd. Nancy Baird of the Chamber introduced Jeff Klepper to speak at the coffee. Klepper is president of the SJS school council. “I would like to thank everyone for coming this morning welcome to our school, thank you for the continued support.” Klepper introduced faculty and staff of the school. “With this being catholic schools week what better timing for the Governor’s award to be presented for the 2nd time in the last three years to the school, along with the exciting activities the students take part in all week.” Klepper and wife Gwen have three children enrolled in SJS. Nancy Baird introduced elected chamber board members Casey Roberts, Lloyd Kurtz and Jacque Isern and encouraged anyone who wanted to be a chamber member to contact her for details. Michelle Kowalsky of Ellinwood Hospital & Clinic and Area Healthcare Foundation invited all to lunch for the annual hospital chili luncheon on this day with a reminder of the Lab Fair from 7 to 8 a.m. on Feb. 14 at the Hospital Clinic.
