ELLINWOOD — Ellinwood junior varsity golf team placed second at the Southeast of Saline Invitational Monday at Salina Mlunicipal Golf course. The Eagles missed first placed by just two strokes.
The jv squad has finished first or second as a team in all three of their tournaments this season.
Individual placings were: Tyler Capps and Andrew Degenhardt - 5th place tie; Trey Mosier - 7th place; Alex Kowalsky - 11th; Kyle Jenks - 12th; and Corbin Lawrence - 13th.
