Approximately 105 calls for service and 77 Officer initiated calls were received for the month of October.
Officers responded to six medical/fire calls. Eight arrests were made and two criminal summonses were served in the month of October.

Traffic Citations
Oct. 1
Ryan Placher was cited in the 100 block of East C Street for defective brake lights and driving while suspended.

Oct. 4
A juvenile was cited for exhibition of speed in the 200 block of North Main Street.

Oct. 13
Aaron Pohlman was cited for speeding, no motorcycle endorsement and no proof of motor vehicle insurance in the 100 block of South Main Street.

Jessica Casey was cited for speeding in the 100 block of West Seventh Street.

Kimberly Beck was cited for expired vehicle tags in the 400 block of South Main Street.

Philip Rizek was arrested in the 300 block of East Santa Fe Boulevard on a Republic County Warrant. Rizek was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

A theft report was taken in the 500 block of West Seventh Street.

Kari McBride was arrested in the 100 block of South Kennedy on Blaine County Oklahoma Warrant. McBride was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

A domestic miolence, battery report was taken in the 200 block of Craig Street.
Oct. 10
A protective custody report was taken in the 600 block of North Kennedy Avenue.
Nicholas Espinosa was arrested in the 100 block of North Humbolt Avenue on an Ellinwood Municipal Warrant. Espinosa was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

A possession of marijuana report was taken in the 500 block of South Bismark Avenue. Justin Christians was arrested and transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

A hit and run accident report was taken in the 500 block of East Santa Fe Boulevard. Homer Reiser was cited for duty to report an accident upon striking an unattended vehicle.
