Approximately 103 calls for service and 105 officer initiated calls were received for the month of August. Officers responded to seven medical/fire calls and worked three non-injury accidents. Two arrests were made and eight criminal summonses were served in the month of August.

A dog bite report was taken in the 200 block of West 6th.

A lost decal report was taken in the 300 block of South Main.

August 9
Tina Creamer was arrested on a bench warrant. Creamer was transported to the Barton County Jail, where she was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

A non-injury accident report was taken in the 100 block of West A.
August 11
A sexual battery, battery report was taken in the 200 block of South Main. Kurt Doll was arrested and transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

Michael Schwager was arrested on a bench warrant in the 500 block of South Main. Schwager was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

A theft of motor fuel report was taken in the 200 block of East SantaFe.
A non-injury accident report was taken in the 100 block of West SantaFe.
August 15
Matthew Hossler was issued a criminal summons for a code violation committed in the 100 block of West 1st.

A possession of marijuana report was taken in the 500 block of South Humbolt.

An aggravated criminal sodomy report was taken in the 500 block of South Humbolt.

Corey Detter was arrested in the 200 block of West D on a bench warrant. Detter was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.
