Approximately 92 calls for service and 64 officer initiated calls were received for the month of December. Officers responded to nine medical/fire calls and worked six non-injury accidents. Eight arrests were made and seven criminal summonses were served in the month of December.

Dec. 1

An unlawful restraint report was taken in the 400 block of Pembroke Lane.

Dec. 2

Three vehicle burglary reports was taken in the 100 block of West 5th.

Two vehicle burglary reports were taken in the 200 block of East 6th.

A vehicle burglary report was taken in the 100 block of East 5th.

A non-injury accident report was taken in the 200 block of East Santa Fe.

Dec. 3

A non-injury accident report was taken in the 200 block of North Main.

Frances Rome was cited for unattended motor vehicle.

A hit and run accident report was taken in the 200 block of West 1st.

A hit and run accident report was taken in the 200 block of West B.

Dec. 6

John Schmidt was arrested in the 400 block of East Santa Fe on an active Sedgwick County Warrant. Schmidt was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

Dec. 8

A sexual battery report was taken in the 300 block of North Schiller.

Dec. 14

A vehicle was found abandoned in the 300 block of Wieland and was impounded.

A domestic violence, battery report was taken in the 300 block of Goethe.

John Schmidt was arrested for battery, domestic violence and Tracy Thacker was arrested for obstruction. Thacker and Schmidt were transported to the Barton County Jail, where they were booked and confined in lieu of bond.

Charles Dunnaway was arrested in the 5 block of South East 90 Avenue on an active Barton County Warrant. Dunnaway was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

A hit and run accident report was taken in the 200 block of East 6th.

Melissa Pemberton was cited for leaving an accident involving damage to an unoccupied vehicle.

Dec. 16

Jeffery Keenan was arrested in the 600 block of North Humbolt for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs or both. Keenan was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

Dec. 17

A hit and run accident report was taken in the 100 block of North Main.

Dec. 19

Dalton Staudinger was arrested in the 200 block of East 2nd on an active Barton County Warrant for violation of probation. Staudinger was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

A criminal use of a financial card report was taken in the 200 block of East Santa Fe.

Dec. 20

Michelle Jarvis was arrested in the 100 block of Wilhelm on a Barton County Warrant. Jarvis was transported to the Barton County Jail, where she was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

Dec. 22

Audra Peterson was arrested in the 100 block of South Fritz for driving while suspended. Peterson was transported to the Barton County Jail, where she was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

Dec. 27

David Standlee was arrested in the 300 block of Goethe for driving while suspended. Standlee was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.
