Approximately 125 calls for service and 82 officer initiated calls were received for the month of February. Officers responded to 17 medical/fire calls. Seven arrests were made and nine criminal summonses were served in the month of February.

Criminal and Accident Reports:
Feb. 2
One vehicle non-injury accident report was taken in the 300 block of North Kennedy Avenue.
Feb. 5
An aggravated assault report was taken in the 200 block of West First Street.
Feb. 9
Kenney Kowalsky was arrested in the 500 block of West Seventh Street on a Russell County Warrant. Kowalsky was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.
Jay Kroulik was served a criminal summons for criminal trespass in the 300 block of East Santa Fe Boulevard.
Feb. 10
Alicia Hoeffner was served a criminal summons for dog running at large in the 100 block of East Fourth Street.
Feb. 11
A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 500 block of South Bismark Avenue.
Dalton Staudinger was arrested in the 200 block of West B Street on a Rice County Warrant. Staudinger was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

A lewd and lascivious report was taken in the 400 block of East Santa Fe Boulevard.
Feb. 13
A forgery report was taken in the 400 block of East Santa Fe Boulevard.
Feb. 14
A burglary report was taken in the 200 block of East First Street.
An identity theft report was taken in the 200 block of West Sixth Street.
A violation of a protection order was taken in the 600 block of North Main Street.
02/15/2014    A Child In Need of Care Report was taken in the 400 block of Pembroke Lane. A Juvenile was taken in to custody and transported to the Juvenile Justice Authority in Great Bend, where the juvenile was released to a Juvenile Intake Officer.
Feb. 19
Two juveniles were served criminal summons for possession of tobacco products in the 200 block of East Second Street.
Feb. 21
A theft report was taken in the 500 block of South Humbolt Avenue.
Karie McBride was arrested on a Great Bend Municipal Warrant in the 200 block of West First Street. McBride was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.
A disorderly conduct report was taken in the 300 block of East Sixth Street.
Feb. 22
Marsha Standlee was served a criminal summons for a noise complaint in the 500 block of South Main Street.
Feb. 24
A criminal use of a financial card report was taken in the 100 block of East D Street.
Feb. 26
A violation of a court order report was taken in the 100 block of East Fourth Street.

Marbeya Garcia was cited for no driver’s license in the 100 block of West Santa Fe Boulevard.
Feb. 9
Kenny Kowalsky was cited for speeding and expired vehicle tag in the 300 block of West Seventh Street.
Feb. 16
LuSung Robinson was cited for expired vehicle tag and no proof of motor vehicle insurance in the 600 block of East Santa Fe Boulevard.
Feb. 22
Richard Batchman was cited for operating an ATV on a highway in the 100 block of East Santa Fe Boulevard.
Kellon Lawrence was cited for disobey traffic control device in the 100 block of West Santa Fe Boulevard.
Feb. 23
Jerry Schepmann was cited for speeding in the 300 block of West Seventh Street.
Feb. 26
Timothy Isern was cited for no seatbelt and no proof of motor vehicle insurance in the 300 block of North Bismark Avenue.
Alexander Roth was cited for no seatbelt in the 200 block of west Second Street.
Feb. 27
A juvenile was cited for basic speed rule in the 400 block of East Fifth Street.
Jeffery Weese was cited for speeding in the 200 block of West Seventh Street.
Shelly Maynard was cited for speeding and no proof of motor vehicle insurance in the 200 block of West Seventh Street.
