Ellinwood Police Department January Report
Approximately 84 calls for service and 107 officer initiated calls were received for the month of January. Officers responded to ten medical/fire calls. Seven arrests were made and four criminal summonses were served in the month of January.

January 4
A Child in Need of Care Report was taken in the 500 block of South Humbolt. A juvenile was taken into custody and transported to the Juvenile Justice Authority, where the juvenile was released to Juvenile Intake Officers.
January 5
A flee and elude report was taken in the 500 block of South Main. Suspect(s) are unknown at this time.
January 11
Maria Cavender was arrested in the 100 block of South Kennedy on an Ellinwood Municipal Warrant for failure to appear. Cavender was transported to the Barton County Jail, where she was booked and confined in lieu of bond.
January 13
Christopher Adams was arrested in the 200 block of East Santa Fe on a Barton County Warrant. Adams was also charged with obstruction of official duty. Adams was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.
January 14
A theft report was taken in the 200 block of East Santa Fe.

January 15
Emily Noblitt was arrested in the 500 block of South Humbolt on Barton County and Russell County Warrants for probation violations. Noblitt was transported to the Barton County Jail, where she was booked and confined in lieu of bond.
January 17
A protective custody report was taken in the 200 block of West D Street.

A theft of motor fuel report was taken in the 400 block of East Santa Fe.
A theft report was taken in the 200 block of West 1st.
January 21
An identity theft report was taken in the 500 block of Wilhelm.

A protective custody report was taken in the 500 block of South Main.
A lost license plate report was taken in the 400 block of South Main.
A delayed reporting of domestic violence, disorderly conduct was taken in the 100 block of East C Street. Loren Jones and Patricia Jones were served criminal summons reference the case.
January 24
A domestic violence, battery report was taken in the 100 block of East C Street. Joshua Hoeffner was arrested and booked and confined at the Barton County Jail in lieu of bond reference the case.
January 25
A cruelty to animals report was taken in the 300 block of East 6th.
January 26
Jacob Poteet was arrested in the 200 block of West A Street on a Barton County Warrant for probation violation. Poteet was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.
A dog running at large report was taken in the 500 block of South Humbolt. Emily Noblitt was served a criminal summons reference the case.
