HOISINGTON — Food Preservation Classes will be offered from 4-8 p.m. July 24 and July 31 at the Hoisington First United Methodist Church, 3rd and Clay.
The classes will be taught by Barton County Extention Agent, Donna Krug.
The first class will cover how to preserve food by drying and freezing. Making refrigerator pickles will also be covered.
The second class will cover using a water bath and pressure canner.
