HOISINGTON — The Hoisington Activity Center has several trips planned for the near future.
"Steel Magnolias"
The bus will be traveling to the Wichita Uptown Dinner Theatre to see "Steel Magnolias" on Thursday Feb. 2. The bus will leave HAC at 8:30 a.m. and stop at Great Bend Library at 8:45 a.m.
The fee is $40 per person. Deadline to sign up is Jan. 6.
Lunch will be a buffet at the theatre. The bus will stop for breaks when necessary.
Boot Hill Casino
There will be two trips to Boot Hill Casino in Dodge City. The first is Jan. 24, and the second is Feb. 11.
The bus will leave HAC at 8:15 a.m. and stop at the Great Bend Library at 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be on your own at the casino. The bus will leave the casino at 8 p.m. to return home.
There are incentives for playing. You will receive $10 in free play money and a $7.50 food voucher.
The deadline to sign up for the Jan. 24 trip is Jan. 14, and the Feb. 11 trip deadline is Feb. 3.
"Wizard of Oz"
The bus will be traveling to the "Wizard of Oz" at the Wichita Uptwon Dinner Theatre on March 18.
The bus will leave HAC at 1:30 p.m. and stop at the Great Bend library at 1:45 p.m. Show time is 5 p.m. The buffet is before the show. Registration deadline is Jan. 9.
