HOISINGTON — The Hoisington Elementary Parents Association is once again in the final planning stages for the annual school carnival which will be held Feb. 5 at the Hoisington Activity Center.

The carnival is the primary source of fund raising and is not only enjoyed by the students but also by the parents and teachers. Proceeds from the past carnivals have been used to bring in authors, purchase playground equipment and purchase other needed supplies and equipment for the teachers and students. HEPA also sponsors Field Day and Teacher Appreciation Week.

The carnival committee is asking for donations from area businesses. Monetary donations are appreciated. They are used to purchase prizes for the raffle. They would also be appreciate any products, gift certificates, or coupons that may be used in the raffle.

To contribute or for any questions, call Jen Steinert at 620-791-8755 or 620-653-4470. To mail a donation, send it to HEPA c/o Roosevelt Elementary School, 315 N. Vine, Hoisington, KS 67544.
