HMSI will have back to school scavenger hunt

HOISINGTON — Area students will have the opportunity to practice  skills with the Back to School Scavenger Hunt, sponsored by Hoisington Main Street Inc from Aug. 9-16.
“All forms can be picked up at the school district,” for registration, said Jean Brinlee, Hoisington Main Street director.”Kids can pick up the forms at school registering.”
Participation is limited to USD 431 students at Roosevelt, Lincoln and Hoisington Middle School and is for ages pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.
To participate, the student must visit the participating business and request the Scavenger Hunt school supply offered by the business.
No purchase is necessary. All items are available to participating businesses.
If the item is no longer available, the business will stamp the student’s entry form, allowing them to complete the contest and qualify for the prize drawing .To qualify for the prize drawing, the entry must be taken to Manweiler Chevrolet.
The prize drawing will be held at HMSI office on Aug. 17.
Prizes include an MP3 player, cash, chamber gift certificate, bicycle helmets, Cardinal apparel, Locker Mate Kit, cash and other prizes.
There are 15 businesses that are participating.
