USD 431 to have special meeting
HOISINGTON — USD 431 Board of Education will have a special meeting at 7 a.m. June 27. On the agenda is a budget hearing, end-of-year report, Worker’s Compensation Insurance, bus bids and the July board meeting. They will have an executive session.

KOC to hold poker tournament

HOISINGTON —The Hoisington Knights of Columbus will have a Texas Hold’Em Poker, 114 N. Main tournament to raise funds for area charities.  The tournament will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 7.  

Straw bales available for sale

HOISINGTON — Barn stored straw bales weighing about 45 pounds are available for sale for $6 a bale. One-half of the proceeds will go to Kans for Kids and the other half goes to the Hoisington Clown Committee for the Labor Day parade. The bales are located at United Ag Service in Hoisington.
