HOISINGTON — A planning meeting for the Hoisington Garden will be held at 6 p.m. on Jan. 26 at the Fellowship Hall of the Hoisington, First United Methodist Church at 467 West 3rd

Anyone one can come and eat pizza. They will be making plans for this year’s garden.

Consideration will be given to having some individual garden plots, but there will continue to be vegetables grown to feed the hungry.

In addition, the Hoisington Chamber of Commerce awarded a Certificate of Recognition to the Hoisington Community Garden. This was in recognition for the betterment of the community through volunteer service
