Hoisington forensics fourth at Central Plains

Above is a picture of the Hoisington High School forensics team competing at Central Plains, from left: Larissa Donovan, Kenzie Wolf, Micaila Curtis, Kylie Crawford, Sydney Boxberger, Robbie Willesden, Brandy Bodine, Nick Doerschlag, Shae Bitter, Ashley Lockwood, Rebecca Shinofield, Marion Oborny (coach), and Logan McHenry.

The Hoisington High School forensics team placed fourth out of nine schools at Central Plains High School in Claflin recently.  Sterling finished first; Hodgeman County (Jetmore) placed second, and Sylvan-Lucas placed third.
Shae Bitter and Micaila Curtis placed third in duet acting, just missing qualifying for State by one place.  Micaila Curtis and Logan McHenry placed fourth in improvised duet acting.  Ashley Lockwood placed fifth in oration.
In extemporaneous speaking, Rebecca Shinofield placed fifth, and Robbie Willesden placed sixth. In earlier action at Western Plains in Ransom, Ashley Lockwood placed fifth in poetry, and Rebecca Shinofield placed seventh in informative speaking.
