The Hoisington High School Cardinal Forensics Team placed third out of eleven schools Saturday in competition at Great Bend High School. For their eforts, the team earned at third place trophy and several medals.  They followed Sterling in first place and Hodgeman County (Jetmore) in second.
Ashley Lockwood placed third in oration and sixth in poetry.  In duet acting, Logan McHenry and Rebecca Shinofield placed third, Shae Bitter and Micaila Curtis placed fourth, and Sydney Boxberger and Kenzie Wolf placed sixth.  Corbin Crawford placed sixth in extemporaneous speaking, and Kylie Crawford placed sixth in humorous solo.
In addition to coach Marion Oborny, Diane Harmon drove and accompanied the group.
