HOISINGTON — The Hoisington Chamber of Commerce will again sponsor the Labor Day Float Contest for the Labor Day Parade to be held Monday, Sept. 5, during the city’s annual Labor Day Weekend celebration. Float entries are divided into five categories: Religious floats, Scout and student organizations, 4-H clubs, local organizations and "all other" floats. A sweepstakes prize of $400 will be awarded to the most outstanding entry.
