Hope Tree Ellinwood Future Business Leaders of America were guests of the Ellinwood Ministerial Alliance at its December meeting. Students Sam Kline-Martin, Michaela Hughes and Mattie Shafer presented information about the Hope Tree Project. Ministerial members and school district officials were provided with the latest details as well as the dates gifts can be selected for the children. If a family is in need, an area church can be contacted or the FBLA advisor at Ellinwood High School. Children do not have to go without a gift at Christmas because of a financial strain the family is going through or other situations that might occur, said Shafer, FBLA co-chairman of the project. To donate, stop by the Ellinwood School/Community library with the unwrapped gift or mail a financial donation to EHS, Hope Tree, 210 E. Second St., Ellinwood, KS 67526. We are very grateful for the gifts and donations that have been made, Kline-Martin said. FBLA supports projects to help the community, and the Hope Tree is one of our favorites, said Hughes. - photo by COURTESY PHOTO Latest Kudos for Dudek's koi paintings Catch monarchs at Quiviras Monarch Mania Sunflower Diversified pancake dinner sets new record Ellinwood Municipal Court Docket - June 14
