Four-year-old Karson Kinman enjoyed an ear of roasted corn on the cob at the annual Kans for Kids Hamburger/ Hotdog Feed. Karson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Kinman, Hoisington.

HOISINGTON —Future children in Barton County who are diagnosed with cancer will benefit from the annual Hamburger Hotdog Feed held Sept. 9 at the Hoisington Knights of Columbus. Hosted by Friends of Kans for Kids, a very large crowd enjoyed a meal of hamburgers, hotdogs, baked beans, chips, roasted corn, cookies and drinks. 100% of the proceeds went directly to Kans for Kids.
According to director, Duane Reif, “September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and we felt that this was a great time for this year’s hamburger feed. We’re so grateful to all of the guys that sponsor this successful event every year. We’d also like to thank those who donated all of the food as well as to the many people who came out for lunch in support of Kans for Kids.”
