ELLINWOOD — Ellinwood businesses will hold their 8th annual Ladies Night Out from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on April 4 in Ellinwood. There will be specials and discounts, drawings, give- aways and refreshments.
“It’s a night to view new spring styles and fresh colors,” said Nancy Baird, director of the Ellinwood Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a time to browse for everyone. If you haven’t been to Ellinwood, it’s a great opportunity to meet the friendly staff and find the treasures Ellinwood has to offer.”
Kimple Furniture and Rejuvenations are two of the businesses that will be open and offering specials.
This year, Kimple Furnniture will use a gardening theme. With a purchase, customers receive a garden seed packet which will have a discount amount. In addition, they will serve wine and Wind and Willow snacks and dips.
With a total discount of 10 to 50 percent, new spring merchandise will be available such as lanterns, birdhouses, bird feeders, spring florals and wreaths as well as jewelry and scarves.
“We usually have a good turnout,” said Sheryl Degenhardt of Kimple. “The ladies like to get out.”
Rejuvenation will have a “pick a gem” discount where customers will receive discounts of 10-30 percent, according to the “gem” drawn. There will be a drawing for a $50 gift certificate and margarita mocktails that contain no alcohol. Cheese trays will be served, and there will be a display of their new Age-Loc makeup and products.
